In the second chapter of Coulrophobia, the Storyteller takes readers to 1943. As World War II rages on, people sought moments of respite and joy amidst all the chaos and despair.

Lucien L'Enigmatique's carnival, "L'Enigmatique Mystique" was just that. The townspeople never suspected that something dark was lurking behind the circus facade... until it was too late.

The Storyteller of Vennetta makes his debut and Coulrophobia is born. Patrons come face to face with their biggest fears in this home haunt experience featuring 11 uniquely terrifying scenes. For the first time, the event began running multiple weekends in October.

The Storyteller begins this chapter in earnest this year. However, he has yet to make his presence known. He is but a voice with no name narrating the event. The carnival takes a much darker turn.

Although it was a difficult year for all, with major haunts such as HHN pulling the plug, the event was brought outdoors and a limited façade was created. Great to see the neighborhood coming back.
